Welcome from Cobra Karate Club

Cobra Karate provides quality instruction in Shotokan Goju Ryu karate in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire and Cheshire areas of the UK. We believe that everyone can benefit from learning karate. We pride ourselves on helping our students be their best regardless of age, fitness level and natural physical ability.

All our instructors are passionate about karate and the development of every individual member of the club. This passion and our sense of fun blends itself perfectly to create a fantastic environment where complete karate beginners can integrate seamlessly into our classes and enjoy the benefits of training alongside experienced martial artists.

Ensuring karate standards - for your peace of mind

Our club works closely with the National Supporting Body, Cobra Martial Arts Association (CMAA). Every member joining our club is licensed through the CMAA.

Cobra Martial Arts Association are members of the Martial Arts Standards Agency and the CCPR. These organisations exist to promote national standards amongst martial arts and other sporting clubs.

As well as ensuring quality standards and instructing criteria are met, membership with the CMAA gives our students the opportunity to attend regular events, seminars, courses and tournaments with students from other clubs throughout the UK. These are in addition to our own club's special events.
